okayyy.. letss see. I'm like FINALLY having my first Thurs and Fridae off thanks to terry, my manager. now i like have ta go see adler and lafone at the 06 glamour quest.
well. lotsa ppl say that this yr's glamour quest's contestants are a bit dodgy, but it all boils down to your talent. you dont really need all that looks to make it in the industry.
having that said. i chanced upon adler's blog and saw his newspaper appearance. i must say "Wow". haha. when he's famous. i shall stick to him.... =p.
next on the reporting list is that i finally got a call from Singapore Polytechinc. They wanted me to go down to present my CCA records, testimonials and letter of recommendations. so i jus gave them everything positive to see so that i wont blow my chances. i truly thank god for that opportunity given to me.
anyways. i jus felt that i am thankful for whatever that has been given to me since the day i was born. for the past 10 solid yrs, i had the chance to meet and know god better in ACS. it has carried me thus far and i know that it has molded me into what i am todae. it is not all about the academic results, it is also the character and the personality that counts. the teachers and principals having been truly amazing. im very sure that if i had gone to other schools, i would not have experienced the same thing.
just in anycase, any of you out there who is considering any of the ACS schools as part of your education, i encourage you to go ahead because you wont regret. you'll will have the best time of your life. trust me.
Once an Acsian, Always an Acsian.

Talent Description:
My name is Paul Wong and I've just graduated from Anglo-Chinese School (Barker Road).
The reason why I've decided to opt for this course is because I strongly feel that I have the skills, positive attitude and passion, but yet not found in the academic slip.
I am a dynamic and enthusiastic person who always volunteers to help in whatever way I can. I am sociable and extroverted. A natural leader, I am not afraid to speak up and voice my own opinion.

I strongly feel that these character traits are very important in the Tourism industry because, it needs people with such a passion and attitude to go far in this sector.
Since young, I've had many experiences in working in an environment that requires quick thinking and great interpersonal skills to get the job done.
Besides organizing Fun Fairs, I've also had the chance of playing a key role in a Zonal Schools Literature Conference.

Waiting
Nobody likes to wait, let alone wait for something that could make or break your future. Its killing me to sit around and wait for 2.30pm to happen. That's when a blank piece of paper which reflects my future right now, will be filled with God knows what.
It was the most important exam of my life. It was what was going to allow me to become what I've always dreamed of becoming.
Have I prepared well for this exam? I'm not sure. I'm not sure if I've put in all that I've got into preparing for this hundred or so questions that classifies me into what they think I'll become in future.
The mock exams are suppose to be a wake up call for everyone. I knew that I trying my best to go and squeeze 2 to 3 years work into 2 months and expect to know everything. Which I was pretty sure that most of it 'quite' paid off during the exams. But I highlight the word "QUITE". So there is still a certain extend that remains unforeseen.
Be it unforeseen situation/circumstances, I'm just praying/hoping for the best that it would turn out to be within my expections and make it.
God Bless me. God Bless Everyone.
Outt.
