Geez, I finally have a day off on a Fri so that means I can finally meet up with my friends. And I think I'm finally getting along with my colleagues who are not the friendliest people when they're working. Surprisingly, they seem to have losen up after work. I only discovered that after a stroll after lunch. Well, seems like my interpersonal skills were put to the test, and it turns out that I need to brush up on it.
You know what.... Has Pearl Harbor like relocated to Singapore or what. Cos' the amount of American Sailors that patronise the shop a day are like endless. They just keep coming in big groups... did I mention that they are BIG spenders too? They come in, each of them pick a few shirts, shorts, boardshorts and next thing you know, they've spent a total of at least a thousand.... on surfing clothes? That's quite ridiculous considering there's not a very wide selection to chose from currently at QS.
The other day, M, B and J visited me at the shop and haha, as usual, they are bugging me to help them get a job at QS. Okayyy... I get your sense of urgency, but hellooo? Doesn't mean you want means you'll have you know...(I think i mentioned this before. =p)
Oh, before I go... I didn't know that QS management actually has a heart for the welfare of their staff. They're planning to let the entire team to head to Night Safari and enjoy ourselves for a lil while. All paid for and close shop early on that day. =D=D=D Hopefully the plans gets an approval....=D=D=D ^_^

Here I am sitting in front of my computer blogging once again. Haha, don't worry, this time I have something out of my boring life that I want to share. Deem it boring if you must.......
So I didn't know that working at QS required so many impromtu meetings and OT sessions. Here's the first of the 2 I had after working for only for 4/5 days? I dunno, kinda lost count.
So all of us were asked to head to the Marina Sq outlet for a meeting at 9 fu*king a.m... I was like okayyyyy...............
I dreaded that timing cos
Firstly... I have to wake up so darn early
Secondly.... I detest travelling with the working crowd!
I really had no idea that the working crowd were so lifeless..... The moment I'm out of my house, I look around me and I see 'zombies'. At the traffic light, I see an Office Lady in Executive wear but a closer look, it looks like she wore it to sleep or something and she couldnt be bothered to hide any of those creases...
In the train, everyone looked so lifeless and they just stood around with the phrase "IM SO SICK OF LIFE" written in bold all over their faces. It just seemed like approaching any of them for any sort of reason was a surefire way to get a good scolding for breaking her train of thoughts of nothingness.
And finally, when I alighted at CityHall, the second most crowded station to Raffles place, all I could hear was the 'Clikity-Clackating' of leather shoes and heels all over the place as people scramble to get various destinations.
Everyone were like robots fresh out of the factory without any comands installed into them and all they could do was just keep walking like it was their only default command available.
Haha... seriously, if you are given the chance, bypass Tanjong Pagar, Raffles Place and CityHall stations in morning and evening at all costs. Do not go there unless absolute necessary. Sickening crowd.

Its been such a long time since I was able to go out and spend the afternoon relaxing and get away from the hectic crowd and the noise and maybe loud jarring music.
Today was out with Yama and classmates. Hmmm..... not sure if I should continue updating about how I spent the afternoon in case I bore any of you further. I don't have a very happening life to begin with, other than a few drama scenes here and there, which is a pretty lousy way to end an entry.
But anyhow's, I'm just glad that I've got an easy-going employer and a bunch of fun-loving colleagues. D, A and J are actually kinda interested in my job and has been bugging me to help them get a part-time job there. But hey, subject to availability. Not say you want means will have you know. Haha.
Hmmm.... I really have nothing to update about other than the fact that I'm going back to work tomorrow and maybe gym in the morning before that and bla bla bla.. Sigh. My life is getting more and more boring. I think a black and white motion picture might even be more interesting to watch.

Geez, I just got my job at Quiksilver and its fun. But one thing that caught me off guard was that I didnt know there will be so many customers. Right now, I feel like I've just came back from war or something cos' my feet is aching. Aching so badly as though an elephant stepped on them or something.
And you know what, I'm so tired that I can barely open my eyes, so I'm just going to shower and sleep. Ciao.

What a spectacular way for the World Cup to end. The Italians took home the winning trophy, leaving the French to wallow in their mistakes.
What I said was not an overstatement. Zidane did a beautiful career ending move that caused him to be sent out and directly caused his team to lose in the penalty shoot outs. I had no idea what came over him to header his opponent in the chest. And when he was sent out, he was still so zen about it.
Alright, I shall not bore any non-World Cup fans here with my soccer comments and move on with other stuff.
Its a rather lazy Sunday as the skies are gloomy and the rain is relentless as it showered in the late morning. Its raining again right now as I type my life away, literally. I see no need for the air-conditioning to be switched on as I can sleep in this beautiful cool weather.
In fact, there's nothing much for me to update as I'm at home most of the time. This coming week might be a boring one for me as I do not really have any plans and I might have 2 tuitions.
Oh yeah, came across some really nice Asics shoes that I would really want to buy at Wheelock. Argh, but first things first, I NEED A JOB!!
Grr....I'm going to head to la la land to dream about being rich for now. Haha...
Sweet dreams to myself =)

I thought today was a pretty normal day for me. I woke up at one of the earliest times I've ever did for the past few months, 2 p.m. I know, that's pretty damn late for some of you. But if you happen to realise I have no life, literally.
So, contiuning to blog about my boring life. I headed to the gym for some work out. Just love FitnessFirst. The locations just made my life easier. Not forgetting access to 450 clubs around the world. That's a lot right? Yeah, the price is a lot too. But comfort and luxury comes with a price.
I am SO angry with the construction downstairs my house. They are revamping the entire food and market area. But the construction hasn't even begun and the place looks like a war-zone! They're dismantling the shops and stalls and debris is EVERYWHERE! Glass bits, wooden planks, light bulbs, broken doors... you name it, its all strewn everywhere! Everyday I come home, walking to the lift lobby felt like a riot broke out or something. Argh!
Time to bring out my weapon, COMPLAIN!

Amazing that I could actually stay at home without any complains from Sun to Tues. Firstly, its because I'm getting broke, and that reminds me, I NEED A FREAKING JOB! Secondly, its cos staying at home has its own perks, like idling around the comp and the T.V, talking on the fone and doing random stuff which you can find around the house. O well, I found my new hang out place... YEAH RIGHT.
Today I decided to go A's house for some chillin' out and of course, studying. A word that was under-used in my Sec 4 days. Now regretting it, its frequently used nowadays as I have to attain a top grade for that one lousy subject which I failed-which I dread most-which is an essential subject to get me into a poly-which is maths, for the upcoming exam in Nov.
And by the way, guess what she was doing when I arrived at her doorstep.... putting up a shrine, yes a Shrine for her most favourite in the world-to die for-breathes/lives/eats them- J-Rock bands.
I'm actually quite amazed with my sense of direction. It was just a symphony of trains and bus rides which I just blindly take without questioning myself if I was in the correct route and voila, there I was under A's block.
Oh yeah, during my train ride home, these group of non-locals were in the same carriage as me. This guy had a can of red-bull and a straw stuck through the ring hole of the can and hoisting it up. But his mate decided to be playful and shook his hand violently a few times and suddenly the can top gave way and had red bull ''spat'' right into his face, and the rest on his shirt and pants. HAHA.

Well, Its 7.43pm right now and I just woke up not long ago. Funny how I made myself a promise to try and turn my sleeping hours back to normal asap, oh whatever.
Yesterday was one of my most tiring days ever. The day before, I couldnt sleep till 7am. But then I had it clearly in my mind that I had to be awake by 10 am no matter what cos' my mum decided to be evil and dragged me to the market with her. So I obediently got up after she came into my room to inform me of the time. Luckily I was armed with a bottle of water or I would have wrinkled up like a dried mango. The sun was so unforgiving that anyone standing under it would feel its wrath within 5 mins.
So thank goodness for sheltered walkways, I made my way safely to the market. And boy, I was in for a rude shock when I arrived. The place was stuffy and packed. The housewives and aunties were just so relentless in their grocery shopping. But having promised my mother that I would accompany her, I had no choice but to dive into the crowd of sweaty housewives and rude aunties bargaining for a better price....Argh.
Did I make it out alive? OF COURSE I DID, if not I wouldn't be here typing about that horrific experience. I was back home by 12 and I told myself that the next visit to the market would not be anytime soon within this year. At the same time, I was comtemplating whether to head to the gym or to take a shower and hit the sack to catch up on lost sleep. But 3 hours of sleep couldn't deter me from heading to the gym at George St, FitnessFirst.
Beautiful as it is, I didn't get to use to pool for long thanks to the another group of "not too slim" aunties carrying out their Aquabotics class. So I was forced to head back to the machines for more workout.
I was outta that place by 4 plus and met M by 5 plus at paragon for some heavy dinner at Din Tai Fung. I think I'm getting sick of that place. I always eat the same thing and its getting boring. Gotta think of nicer places to dine soon. =) M & I were rather bored after dinner so we decided to pay A a visit since she decided to wake up after dinner time.
Im lazy to elaborate the rest cos its pretty boring. I have no idea how am I going to sleep later. OH, I NEED A JOB DESPERATELY!

The thoughts that races through my mind,
Freely as they run, unrestricted as they may seem,
Its existances is all but a void in reality.
Lying in bed every night, my tears flow down unknowingly,
Trying so hard to fake a smile everyday,
Trying so hard to be delusional in every way
Seems so impossible, seems so utterly bleak.
I keep running, running from the demons of my fears,
Fearing that I would have to see my family torn apart.
Seconds passed like hours as I sit in the corner,
Listening to all the nasty things being said.
Their quarrels drowns out my cries,
Cries for someone to take me away.
The promises that they made to me,
Are all broken as I step into the threshold of a broken family.
Days become weeks, weeks become months and months become endless.
Just like the endless thoughts I have, the unrestricted dreams,
Longing to feel the warmth again, longing to have a Home again.
These are not copied, so yeah.

Slow down, or you'll kick the bucket. Metaphorically or literally depends on your situation.
Today I organised an outing that was out of the ordinary. An outing to catch a soccer match. And never thought that my ex-classmates can actually get along so well with my outside friends. O well, its not like I find surprises everyday.
So the soccer match was pretty much boring for the first half, but the second half was pretty exciting. I shall spare you the details here as you probably would have heard it from somebody else already. So after that, it was one heavy supper at the kopitiam opp. cine.
I hate to say this once again but I really do miss my barker days. You probably would have read about it entries ago but its a nostalgic feeling that hits me every once in a while in this fast past society. Its not like I'm living a fast pace life right now. Which brings me to another topic.
While I was walking home with Jon, I noticed how quickily he was walking as if he was rushing for somewhere, and I had a lil difficulty keeping up with him. Everyone has school and they have to rush from lectures to lectures and it happens so often, it becomes a habit to walk quickily as if you're rushing to somewhere when you're not. I mean now that I'm not schooling, I've noticed how my life has been slowing down and I actually have the time to appreciate the little things around me that normally would have been missed out if I was rushing for some place.
Geez, speaking of which, I'm not even schooling and I'm having wierd stress related breakouts. Its funny how SG can create such immense pressure on the growing teens and working adults that they're forced to keep moving on at such a rapid pace that they cannot slow down to reflect on what they've done is right or wrong. But...through time, everyone grows and learns from what they've experienced. If it's good, feel good about it and move on. Same goes for the bad, don't be sore about it and look forward to a brighter future that only you yourself can create. But never sit down and ponder about what's done. There's nothing that can bring back the past and you cannot do anything about it.
